Especially for some newbies out there, they will surely need this. Warhammer fantasy can affect your enemies because of some benefit that you will get when you have a fantasy.

Re: Confessions of a Roleplaying Book Collector

I feel a little guilty about collecting books. Pretty much the only way that would happen is if the DM already knew that they wanted to support the 4E PHB3 Minotaur. I doubt you'll find any established setting pre-4E that had Minotaurs as a common race.

Re: Powergaming: Making a Powerful Fighter or Monk in Core 3.5 D&D

Well, Protection from Arrows is a second level spell and will give you DR 10/magic... there's more powerful stuff like Displacement later but they wouldn't look like this, so... lets say Protection from Arrows!

Re: Powergaming: Making a Powerful Fighter or Monk in Core 3.5 D&D

So, in the picture, you have the Wizards flying and casting at each other but... how does the wizard deflect arrow attacks again? O_o

Re: Strategy guide for Zombie Attack! Add two saws and line the middle with fire. Finish with canons and guns around the shack and you've got level 60. I also had to run around the entrance to "herd" most of the zombies away from the shack. Score sucked but level 60!

Re: Powergaming: Making a Powerful Druid in Core 3.5 D&D

yes some of the best spells are the ones with the most possibilities, i EAGERLY waiting to hear anything you have on power gaming with rogue or soceror, ill admit i play more with the fighter monk and enjoyed your other info on it, very reveiling, but i just started a game as a rogue or soceror and would like some tips

Re: Dice of Doom Podcast 007: Using Alternative Settings in your Roleplaying Games

IF you want a world in the ancient Greek world look up Exalted: Greece online

Re: Games Workshop: 145 Teaser Trailer

Or Titillating Pink!

Re: D&D 4E Player’s Handbook 3: In-Depth Review

You made to many opinions, overall, you did a good job of reviewing, yet i feel you were to opinionated about things like the minotaur.
The key to keeping playing GURPS for me was to roll first..and then calculate the rules if it looks like it is needed. 3 is always high. 18 is always low. So you rolled in combat 16..that's probably a miss. Don't bother looking up if you are at a -3 or -5 to hit at the moment.

That was our general rule as a group. We were a fairly story oriented and we only looked things up when we thought the modifiers were going to make a difference in how things played out. For little stuff or fairly obvious roles we generally let it go.

Re: Dice of Doom Podcast 037: Lady Blackbird, Religion in RPGs and Dealing with a Large Gaming Group

It's a good goal! It is one of those things that are essentially a tool in a game which you can use if you want/need to in my opinion. As with all things, if you're having fun without it, why not keep having fun?

There is an example of an entire campaign being driven by the use of religion on our Facebook page that sounds pretty amazing. Essentially the gods are using the players as pawns in a political struggle. Well worth reading about.

Re: Dice of Doom Podcast 037: Lady Blackbird, Religion in RPGs and Dealing with a Large Gaming Group

We knew when we recorded it that there would be people out there to whom religion is an integral part of their character. We've heard from a number of people where this is the case. I think in a lot of ways, we were really meaning to say that we have never really used it as part of our character development; that we have always sought inspiration from other places. In a way, we were challenging ourselves to give it a go next time I think :)

Re: Dice of Doom Podcast 037: Lady Blackbird, Religion in RPGs and Dealing with a Large Gaming Group

We are indeed! Although we are making a few changes to how we approach it. The next episode of the podcast we recorded at the end of the first Game a Month summarising our experiences. The next one we record we will talk about what we are hoping to play, and how we're organising it.
